Hello Beauties!

Since every other beauty blogger has been reviewing Simple Skincare’s Micellar Water, so why not go with the herd and test it out? I would classify this cleanser/makeup remover/moisturizing solution as a drugstore dupe of a lot of the other micellar waters out there. This incredible water from the Heavens first originated in Europe where it was popularized by French models. Now, if I had any way of getting model-esque skin I would jump at the chance, but I was apprehensive about dropping a couple of 20s for it (that is 20 dollar bills btw). That’s when I saw that Simple Skincare put out their own micellar water and it is available in the U.S. And that’s where we are at right now!

My Candle Haul! | Rando Thursday

Hello Beauties!

This weekend I went on a homeware shopping excursion, which ended in picture frames, fairy lights, and candles. Ah, yes, the ever-present need to seem more mature than I really am has manifested itself in candles. I know, it’s weird. But I guess I’m a candle person now. I’m so sorry for letting you all down, but I promise you that it will only get worse… 🙂

I ended up getting basically everything from HomeGoods, which is a dangerous place for all my fellow candle lovers out there since they had a complete rack of at least 100 candles. Lets just say I ended the day with a serious headache. I didn’t buy as many as you think I did (I promise you I would get more if I had the room for them) but here are the three that I purchased! Enjoy!

THE CANDLES

LAB’s Lotus Bamboo: Basically like flowers and grass. It’s pretty self explanatory.

LAB’s Wild Orchid: What I can only describe as a DQ Blizzard amongst a field of flowers and grass.

Sensational’s Natural Soy Candle in Chrome: The mobster of all candles; it smells like a strong business man.

Hello Beauties!

Neutrogena’s new moisturizer has been making huge headlines lately as the latest and best drugstore gel moisturizer, and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. What makes this product different is that it’s water-based, meaning that it sinks in and works incredibly fast! The only high-end comparison I can think of is Clinique’s Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, which is around $38. This clever dupe is only $17, and I personally feel that it works better! Obviously all the hype was no lie, but you can watch the video to learn more about this favorite product of mine!
